I am ethousiastic, motivated and passionate. I have the energy to search or new ideas, and put existing knowledge together in new years, listen to people and synthesise the needs they express into proposing new ways forward that can mobilise people collectively (e.g. teams, organisations). I am good at bringing out key elements, when analysing complex situations.
Visibility: Professionally, right now I need to keep proving that I am worth the confidence which a consultancy firm decided to show me as a freelance associate, by giving me a key position in a big contract with a multilateral organisation. I will also continue submitting applications to the UN in the hope to get a permanent post in the near future. However, in terms of priorities, I also have to keep providing for my family in the short term, which requires completing short contracts on a regular basis. Wins: I have succeeded in providing for my family as head of household over the summer. It demanded a sacrifice: My husband went on vacation with our children for several weeks while I worked, but at least our near future is secured financially. I helped my husband’s family move and get settled into their new house. This required renovation work which I managed with my family in parallel to my work. I have started exercising again and am beginning to lose weight (I put on weight during the lockdown).
I have always believed that there is so much synergy, positivity, creativity, energy, support and inspiration when we partner and collaborate with one another to solve issues and problems. Major shift for me is to realize that stepping into a place of vulnerability, being more visible, especially with my husband and daughter, that will really open up so many new possibilities, support and joyful moments. I need support to keep connected to my intuitive knowing of what is right and stand up to those that try to dominate me, distract me and pull me in other directions!
What support do I need? I need support to free up space and time for personal and professional development – to be able to prioritise, make choices and improve the quality of life for myself and my family.
It is difficult to ask for support when you feel ashamed of the issues you need support with!

The idea that we empower ourselves to empower others – this is how I have been living my life – with more or less success, depending on my own strengths/weaknesses in different areas, and at different moments – but the intention has always been there!
I help organisations have impact! I support my children to become strong, intelligent and generous human beings.
I was happy and energised serving as an elder volunteer, limited to make phone calls collecting the numbers by word of mouth and referral. Really a small time commitment but so appreciated.
After my simple service calling shut ins I agree with you, Claire. The contact was needed and created some good laughter.
My vision has opened to believing in my ability and to step up to create my first book. I’ve carried and worked on the concept for years but holding back dumping negative feeling of disappointment on the possibility. It’s never to late to get on board and allow myself to push through and experience the fullness of my vision. I have just watched the power circle. It is so powerful. I have not been able to join live as it is quite late over here (UK). When Claire pointed out that crisis exists in every transformation due to knowing you won’t be who you were before and don’t know who you will be after, I was like ‘oh yeah!’ haha! It brought clarity and a calm. 25 minutes in the seminar and I-m already blown away!
My takeaway so far is this idea that transformation DEMANDS disruption of old and negative and right now this disruption and crisis is naturally happening due to the global circumstances and we have equal potential for both – breakthrough AND breakdown!
