Feminine Success Codes Seminar
Extreme Self Care As a Pathway to Greater Success in Your Life with Claire Zammit, Ph.D
Welcome to the Replay of the Session!
There isn’t a woman I know who isn’t living with an overwhelming number of competing demands on her time and attention.
And most of us are last in line to receive from ourselves the care that we so generously extend to others.
But what if you could give more, create more, impact in even bigger ways if you uplevelled your self-care?
What if self-care could be pleasurable and fun and nurture your connections with others in the process?
That’s exactly what we’re going to explore in this month’s Success Seminar.
During this month’s session, we’ll focus specifically on the extreme self-care Power Practices that can ignite the greater potentials in our relationships, creativity, visibility, finances, purpose, spiritual life and more.
Join us to make the mindset shifts and embrace the Power Practices that can support you to attune more closely to yourself, unleash a deeper source of energy, and enable you to feel stronger and more confident on your path to greatness.
NOTE: This is the replay of the live session and was designed to be interactive!
We held a space for you in our circle during the live event, even if you didn’t attend in person at the time.
Throughout the session Claire will ask thought provoking questions and guide you through reflective practices.
We invite you to post your answers to the questions Claire asks of you in the seminar. Please post those in the comments section below.

I realise that I often postpone or cut out my self care because it feels like a chore. Now that I’m gonna make it a pleasure that will give me much more incentive to keeping to that discipline. Being out in the open doing my pilates will be fun. And more singing to the land -that is always my greatest pleasure.
I love my self-care-walking/vocalizing/praying by the ocean, massaging myself with aromatic oil, spiritual devotion. The part I’ve needed to add is the self-love, not scolding myself for what I could have “accomplished” during my self-care time. The heart-reconnecting self-love practices that Marci and Arielle shared in the Women on Edge of Evolution are really helping me to override those mental habits.
Thank you for sharing your inspiration Rosalyn. I can feel the softness of your presence with your self….beautiful! xoTrecia
My self care intention for the month is to deeply connect with myself and my needs, my daily routines are steeped in self-care, and it is reflected in the choices I make. It is not a ’30 minutes a day ‘afterthought’.
You are the ‘first-thought’ Tania. Your 30 minutes a day are pure love for you! xoTrecia
During the FP call about self care, I reflected at how I increased my self care through morning practices of meditation, being in nature and movement in the past few months. It has made such a difference and transformation in me. So continuing this and keeping it up is one goal and must do. What also came forward was moving toward completion on projects, classes… And how lessening my to do and having less things incomplete would ground me and be an act of self care. My website is complete and live! I organized a list of things I want… Read more »
Jade, standing with you in power and possibilities when you recognize and meet your deepest needs. Wishing you all the best xoTrecia
Hello everyone! I am so moved with this q&a and the shares. I had a very powerful 2 past weeks where I became a grandmother of a baby girl. We had a baby blessing on zoom a month ago with her closest friends, her supportive tribe. We had an altar with power objects , symbolizing virtues needed for the process. What I found amazing was the insight I shared about the force and energy,( the Red Tent sacred energy)where we, as woman receive the wisdom and force from our grandmother, mother, and pass on to my daughters and granddaughters. Recognizing… Read more »
Blanca what a beautiful awakening…. we stand here and hold the space for you to step into your highest self radiating love for your self and to others according to your needs, wants and desires xo and a warm Feminine Power Welcome to your little one ? Taking the attention away from others is not only a risk, it also makes me feel guilty!
“The key to overcoming overwhelm is prioritisation.” – I need to constantly remind myself of this!
Prioritisation: Simple and achievable habits for physical exercise, sleep and meals – sounds good! Small actions (baby-steps) to move my career forward.
I miss my pilates and running – I have been neglecting myself physically, because I have spent more time working – and helping others with their emergencies.
Good image: I should take care of myself, as I take care of my daughter, with empathy and love.
You are right – taking care of myself helps renew my energy and get more fuel to deal with other priorities. I know this – but I still need to remind myself everyday, to allow myself to take that personal time!
We are a family with 2 freelancers – so in practice, often “choosing myself” actually just means negotiating the space and taking the time to get my work done well, in time! – which means I am basically still choosing others (my employers…), because I don’t have the choice, if my family is to survive financially!
Hi! I just read your comment and I can relate. I am a freelance writer and deadlines can be daunting. The best way I have found to make time for self-care is to make an appointment with myself every day to mediate, read and work thru this course. I make time everyday for self care because if I don’t, I’ll just keep putting it off until I run out of energy.
Either or: Release the “it’s either them or me”…so I choose to help others!
New intention: I need to help myself at least twice a day: physically and psychologically.
I know it is about prioritisation – but when everything is important, and I don’t have enough hours in my day – what do I do?
“Now is not the time – but soon I will take care of myself…” – You are so right: My intention was: I wanted to to start going running again – and I have gone once in 2 weeks!!!
My question: The word that comes up is Time – I am back to the challenge of managing my time, working from home, with three children – to do everything I want to do in a day! But this is short-term. I feel this is not my BIG question – so I’ll keep digging during this session… Perhaps the Big question is to connect with my deeper purpose: Things are beginning to move in my career – I may have to make some choices soon between the options/opportunties I am given, and I need to be prepared, to make the… Read more »
Beautiful reflection Mia! And yes, connecting with your deeper purpose will help you align the next steps and decisions!! Much love, Adria
I took next week off for a staycation. Today I made a self care list of all things I want to do each day and then to find ways to make that part of my regular routine: read (ok on Audible), creative crafting projects, daily, chanting/meditation, online classes on healing modalities and Yoga with Adrienne. It’s hard to do all of this when I’m working full time remotely, and I feel pulled in different directions. I need to carve out at least an hour a day for self-care essentials! I’m worth it!
Beautiful response to taking care of yourself Cindi! Definitely hear the challenges AND you are worth it! Blessings, Adria
As it turns out, I combined last month & this month’s focus at the same time. I’m having home repairs done & asked for a place to stay while the final phase is being completed. I am staying at a great place that allows myself & little boy to have the space we need during the chaos. I asked for the Presidential Suite at one hotel, but got three very nice rooms somewhere else. (Still progress in my world) I am sleeping so well at night. I wake up to a space without dust & a shopping list of activities… Read more »
Beautiful Elaine! Asking for what you need and want. I’m so glad to hear you are sleeping well and you and your son are feeling spacious calm. xo Trecia
Hi this is Jeannie Savage, I’m moving in an interesting way, already finding out so much about myself. The best is realizing that with my issues, I’m not alone. We all have hangups from disfunction in our lives. The three P’s are a big help
So glad you’re here Jeannie! xo Trecia
Dance. dance, dance to groovy music… My son made a beautiful play list just for me and I enjoy the music he choose …. I plan to listen more to such music and dance to it, at home, on the street, in the park…. ??♀️
awww, Isabella, what a beautiful and thoughtful gift from your son . A wonderful reminder for those of us who use movement as our form of self-care! xoTrecia
Self Care for me goes beyond the yummy sensory pleasures & relaxing. It is *adulting*: getting professional help on my taxes, making a dentist appointment, and yes going to bed earlier tonight 🙂 More Sleep= Wonderful.
I love this… sometimes self-care is getting to those things that pulling at us… which can be many in the ‘adulting world!’
My intention is for this month that I let myself to feel my deepest desires and see the worth of them.
What a beautiful practice to begin Katalin! xoTrecia and The Feminine Power Team
I have been on self care journey for quite some time now, so this is great that we’re having this conversation! My intention for this month is to take more time for myself (I moved in with a roommate so I have to be more intentional about it now that I’m not living alone), and to add one more item to my daily morning routine.
Beautiful Sarah and so simple….just one item. Sometimes that’s all it takes. xoTrecia and The Feminine Power Team
I’ve been over-giving to a small group of people that I’ve been close to for many years, that I’ve trained to receive.
I intend to create a healthy community of family and friends where there is reciprocity – a natural flow of giving and receiving; people I feel happy talking to, who express interest in me and vice versa.
It looks more diverse.
It feels nurturing, positive, supportive, and fun.
It sounds like lots of laughter.
Gorgeous Nancy! I could hear the laughter as I read it… xoTrecia and The Feminine Power Team
My takeaway was that self care and taking care of on going gut health issues is the foundation for me taking it to the next level in my business and relationships. So I put together a schedule and plugged in self care first, then my business and other things. Also, got lined up with a health coach/functional diagnostic nutrition practitioner to get to the root cause of my issues. Someone I absolutely trust, especially since she’s “been there.” I am having to budget right now so I called in a “spiritual negotiator” from the higher realms before she and I… Read more »
thanks for the tip on the Troubadors of Divine Bliss! Amazing!!
I love the definition of self-care as the practice of taking an active role in protecting one’s own well-being and happiness. I’ve been practicing giving myself away to certain people close to me, in terms of time and money (stepped it up since the pandemic started), and it has made me unhappy, and feeling resentful and unappreciated. A recent incident made me pull back, wounded. I immediately went into protective mode and into old, dis-empowering stories of my self worth. Instead of retreating and rejecting, I practiced going into power center and journaled about it and got to the root… Read more »
What powerful realizations you’ve had! The joys of being an empath, right? As an empath myself, I am always practicing, putting myself at the center, tuning into myself before I tune into others… it’s a constant practice, bc it doesn’t come naturally! Soon hopefully it will though, right? Best wishes 🙂
Self care is so important to my strength, confidence, motivation and growth, and planning is an essential strategy to make it happen the next day! Thankyou
A huge takeaway for me is that I OWE it to those around me to prioritize my self care so that my cup is full and I can show up my best self!
Yes!! We need to take care of our light first, only then we can shine to others. Beautiful.
My old old story is tomorrow is another day.
My new story is : I matter and making daily time for my selfcare is not a luxury, it’s essential.
So, I have decided to do a warm up before Pilates with Latin Salsa just to get my juices going and then follow with Pilates or basic yoga practice. I love both.
Yes, Julia. There is no better time than now. I remember looking at my exercises like at brushing the teeth or taking a shower in the past – part of my selfcare routine made it no-brainer. It was that important to me and the results were so worth it, made the process a pleasure. You go girl and enjoy the expansion!
So inspiring Julia! I love you’re new story, you DO matter…. xoTrecia and The Feminine Power Team
I have a disc collapse in my lower back which is very painful. My extreme selfcare Intention is to do gentle yoga/Pilates daily. I have an instructor and she sends me videos on gentle movements. I sometimes just let slide and then regret it later. I have also set an intention around my work time boundaries.
This week I finished “Science of well being” course offered by Coursera. The final project is to do one Rewiring of mind for 4 weeks and I chose practicing yoga and meditation as one aspect of physical/mental well being and self care. I prepared the space and time then joined a virtual “live” classes who are offering yoga, Pilates and fitness. I do yoga with group on line then meditate by myself. I have prioritize my exercise practices which give me the pleasure, fitness and mental calmness.
Wow, that is awesome Eman. Looking forward to reading more about your outcomes. We’ll done.
Thank you Julia and hope your back pain get better.
l have added to my schedule walking twice a week in the mall as our weather in Bahrain is extremely hot in the summer (45 c) and swimming twice a week (I have small swimming pool). The lockdown gave me the time to pay more attention to look after my physical movement.
Way to go Eman! Well done ??♀️?♀️
I send you loving support for your intention dear Eman! ?
Katalin
thanks for the support.?
Prioritizing and planning for pleasure and play… I love it Eman! xoTrecia and The Feminine Power Team
How can I feel more pleasure in my self-care practice? Walk every day, find time for yoga three times a week. Find time to practise every day.
As I consider how to self-care I already feel calmer
I am so excited for you.
Thank you so much Julia x
Breakthrough – To give myself more time to do yoga at home, classes here (England) have been closed since March and so has swimming. To allow myself more time to practise music, to walk in nature more. To keep at a distance those who have been causing me upset/lack of respect and if they come back to me treating me with 100% respect then great! This is what I would like to create.
I have served others well during this extraordinary time, being able to shop for several family elderlies and ensure that they had good, nice food that they would look forward to eating as they could not go out. I have no fear of the ‘The Thing’ (virus or whatever we want to call the current situation) myself, as strongly believe that I had it in March (viral symptoms and profoundly lost my taste), I have to say that it came with a huge sense of liberation and feeling of immunity! One of the people I am shopping for has caused… Read more »
I am no longer going to allow some people in my life (4) including two family members, to treat me in a disrespectful way.
Go Sarah… I stand with you.
Yes, Sarah! Setting boundaries is wonderful way to practice self-care. xoTrecia and The Feminine Power Team
I’ve realized that where I struggle in extreme self-care is where I struggle in life generally. A theme that has been on my mind lately a lot. My old stories (that I share in both cases) are: • TIME – no time, not good time, not enough of it • BUSSINESS – other priorities • ENERGY – lack of it • DISAPPOINTMENT – no matter what I do, it’s no effect/good anyway I could feel these stories bubbling up but this is the first time I see them so clearly, the last one possibly being the strongest one and maybe… Read more »
Lubica, I love essential oils, what a brilliant idea. I imagine myself there with you creating joy as we selfcare. Beautiful.
Thank you, Julia. ?
Lubica what a wonderful transition you made. I can see your awareness open up with your new story reflecting inspired action. xoTrecia and The Feminine Power Team
My self-care intention for the month is to spend 45 minutes every morning dedicated to movement with kindness to my body to become stronger.
I right there with you Yvonne. I have the same intention. Let’s do it!
Awww, Yvonne… I could feel the self-love there and my heart smiled for you! xoTrecia and The Feminine Power Team
I’d like to hear more about how to access and reconnect with my deep creativity…
I knew I needed to take care of myself, to improve my quality of life, but didn’t realise that it was so directly linked to my professional performance! And obviously, taking care of yourself is easier when you enjoy it…
You are right – feeling overwhelmed is about losing my sense of priorities – so I need to hold on to them (I know what they are – so I need to think and behave accordingly). I agree: it is not an either/or: one can be creative and intuitive, and still manage to get a good work-life balance – and get things done.
I have a strategic management educational background – I am supposed to be organised and know how to prioritise – but my attention disorder regularly takes me back to being disorganised and losing sense of my priorities!
New story: I get my priorities rights. I actively protect and take care of myself.
Mia, I love your new story. Sending you lots of love and light as you step into this awesome new resolve. Standing with and for you.
The daily routines and stress levels have prevented me from being creative and connecting to my intuition, have deprived me of energy to move forward in my career.
How is it going with your work? Have you been able to set better boundaries or find ways so it isn’t so draining? I hope so!
Self-care – intention this month:
Create personal breaks for myself, where I am not busy taking care of others
Create space for my brain to reflect on how to make progress,
and for me to reconnect with my intuition.
Create joyful experiences with my family, quality time with my family.
Get exercise to strenghten my body, release tensions and lose weight
Eat healthy, high-quality, tasty food.
Get enough sleep.
Great plan, Mia, with lots of clarity. Holding the space for you and cheering for you.
My well-being is directly connected to improving my work performance: Physical exercise helps me sleep better, keep in shape and avoid putting on weight. Running gives me energy, helps me relax my eyes and reconnect with nature. Pilates helps me focus and concentrate better, strengthen the muscles which have weakened with age and after my 3 pregnancies – and relieve the neck and back tensions I accumulate when working in front of the computer all day.
Beautiful awareness Mia! xoTrecia and The Feminine Power Team
I have been neglecting myself physically from the second part of the lockdown -probably a form of trauma in relation to the COVID19 scare. I gave up physical exercise and put on weight – and now I have so much work, I find it hard to take an hour to go running or do my pilates class..
Biggest win: I now make room for and put energy into investing in creating long-term job opportunities in relation to my core competency
